Have done some prelim checking on the weather in Belize.I would like to visit it when it is not that crowded with tourists. There is some mention about January being more subject to storms and rain, despite it being officially the dry season.(I think). And what about March?
I would really love to hear some suggestion on when it is better to visit this beautiful country.
Looking forward to getting some help!

Hi Olivia,

Welcome to Caye Caulker, Belize.

Forecasters are still finding it very difficult to predict the weather accurately.

However, as residents here, we know that the stormy season may occur from June to October.

We have not had major storms for over 8 years and this may continue indefinitely.

The rainy season that is usually expected around July sometimes sometimes varies to arrive a little earlier or later.

We generally have only one season throughout the year with temperatures predominantly around 80 degrees F. most of the time.

We have no snow or ice nor acid rain.

We are in a pristine natural environement of clean air and water.

Caye Caulker is a beautiful island in Belize where thousands of visitors visit annually but it is never crowded with tourists here.

There are many attractions, activities and exciting adventure tours here. Visitors take boat trips to the second longest living coral reef in the world that is near Caye Caulker.

I suggest that you visit www.belizeodyssey.com for the best accommodations on Caye Caulker.

I shall be happy to provide you or any other travelers to Belize with any additional information at my disposal that you may require.

HOLA!
"The busier time of the year for travelers to Belize is November to May, which are the winter months of the Northern Hemisphere. Still, many visitors prefer the more quiet days of the summer months from June to October for their vacation in Belize. Both times of the year have their own unique attractions and the choice of when to visit is totally up to you, your budget and the adventure you crave."

Here is what I think as well!

Hi Dear

Let me see if I can be of some help.
A good time to come to Belize would be in the months of April or May as the is the closing of the tourist season, if u want to avoid some of the crowd. The weather is also fine in these Months, which will give you a better chance to see all that Belize has to offer.

Where to go: I would say to make your first stop in the Belize District. In Belize City you can see a mixture of all the different ethnic groups that make my country beautiful and also learn some of our history. Sample local food and shop.

Your next stop must in be in the Cayo District. There u can enjoy the river, waterfall, caves, and Maya city adventures. And also stop in too see the best little zoo in the world.

Your final stop must be at the Cayes to enjoy the night life, snorkeling and diving along the coral reef.

Hope this helps.

Hey
Belize is a wonderful country to visit! Well this depends if you want to be by the sea or inland. Well at this time the hurricane season is nearly over and the high season for tourist starts this month. The cayes are a great place to be as well as in land there is lots to do. For example in the cayes you can go fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, para-sailing or just relax by the beach side and get a tan. The night life in the cayes is great, you can have dinner and take a drink at the local bars around the area. Now inland well u have the pine ridge area where you can go relax in the the cool atmosphere of the pine forest. Take hike up the mountains or even go horse back riding. Then you can relax in the nice and cool spring waters of the hills. Then there's the Broad leaf jungle, you can also go horse back riding, visit the mayan ruins and see a little of the pass history of the mayan people who once occupied the area. Also you can go canoeing or caving, bird watching, hiking or just spend a little time among the Belizean people and learn a little of our culture. There area great restaurants with Belizean dishes, or u can have a choice of what ever they have available. I live in the Cayo district and there is always a variety of things to fill your day while you stay here. There are 6 districts and the there are the cayes. So i know if you visit our country it will be a very pleasant experience. Well i hope this was helpful and if you vist hope you have a good time.
You take care and have a good one.

regards
cayoMAN
